I was wrong upthread when I said The Killer deviated from his usual MO by cutting off Angie Gower's finger before she was dead. After thinking about it I realized The Killer thought she was dead but she got out of the biohazard bag and fled.

I predict the ring is very much the key to the investigation. - They focused on it a bit too much back then, and not because the killer takes souvenirs.
- The last person known to have it is missing.
- The last person to give it to that person is dead.
- The ring will show up on a female guest star -- someone's wife or daughter -- who will talk to Linden and/or Holder.
The killer is Just. That. Stupid. If Kallie's dead, maybe we'll see Mama Dips wearing her ring??? I know no one agrees with my Joe Mills theory but I'm sticking with it  |

I predict the ring is very much the key to the investigation. Was Ashley Kwon's ring in the cigar box? Would "one of the four" belong to her? If so, subtract the 17, one for Trisha Seward, I think one will be Angie Gower's, one for Kwon. We have one ring left, and it's not Kallie's. And of course, Bullet's bullet. In the blurb for the next episode it mentions that L&H pick up a new case -- maybe the charred girl -- so the extra ring is hers? |

Was Ashley Kwon's ring in the cigar box? I haven't studied the box pics yet. The seasonal burnout that I get hinders that, to the point that I just want it over, with as little dangling questions as possible. With literally two cases this season, I won't get my wish. |

Okay I've looked in the cigar box that was at StorySync, and I think this one is Ashley's: Damn you Genius! You have burn out and still find the evidence! Rings: 17 in the pond 1 Trisha Seward 1 Ashley Kwon 1 Angie Gower (got her ring, and her finger, the night she got away) So, does the last "known" ring blow the case out of the water? |
