I 'heart' Katie Findlay. This vid is based on two of my favorite 'Rosie' clips. Song is "Discovery Park, Goodbye, Monarch Butterflies", (produced last summer) by yours truly. As some of y'all may recall, music/writing music has long been a hobby and passion of mine. At times, it was/is also a side gig as well. I've written only a few pieces for colleagues, independent producers and the like, but I've written a lot for friends and family. It's absolutely a tickle, to be able to send friends a 'happy birthday' video with a song written just for them instead of the customary b-day car . It's also great therapeutically. Inspiration for this particular song came only moments after "What I Know" aired. Lets just say that I was a little heartbroken (just a tad) . It is meant to begin sad and 'gloomy', but then evolves and morphs into 'hopeful'-- a caterpillar becomes a pretty butterfly sort of thing. This video was quickly put together just for giggles but I hope it conveys the emotions within the music. I also hope that you are smiling at the end (look at that face, how can you not?). Thanks to Rainy and Ryon for 'inspiring' me to make the vid (of all the people in this world, you two are the least likely to poke fun of my 'adoration' of Katie Findlay). Not that I feel the need to explain myself for any reason...but for a lot of folks out there with the "dirty old man" sentiments towards me, I do sometimes need to remind them that Katie is NOT an 'under aged' taboo but she is in fact Ryon's age I 'love' the actress, I adore the character she plays.

Thank you Rainy! I'm very fortunate and grateful to have the TIME and opportunity to indulge in my passions (music, shows/movies), given the line of work I've been in most of my life (I've been an athlete forever and ever). I'm glad you picked up on the shifts in emotions. I like to think that we, as people, often go through that...whether in the make believe world or our very own, very real existence. For the song, I give a lot of credit to my friend Carly for lending the voice you hear...a voice that is in my opinion both haunting and beautiful. I currently have an unfinished song that I may use in a Sarah Linden tribute (all painters, writers, any kind of artist, will tell you, 'unfinished' ideas is what you have A LOT of). Yeah, a Linden tribute...Ryon would love that. Thanks again for the compliment.

Rosie's "Super 8" film. Not to be confused with the "What I Know" film. (property of AMC)

This is a fan-made YouTube video about why Forbrydelsen was so successful. I think it rings true for our show. (Note:"jumper"=sweater)

This will forever be a classic. I don't share his sentiment, but I do understand how he could feel this way.
