Does anyone remember what year Rosie was murdered?  I thought it happened in 2008.  This season is supposed to be a little over a year later.  The DOC letter on Linden's table said May 2009.  Holder and Reddick are discussing Valentine's Day in one scene, and then we have Holder interrogating Goldie and mentioning his arrest in 2011.  Wha?

I just copied Ed's post from over on AMC. Apparently I have been smoking crack since the pilot! The DOC letter is still messed up though.

Rosie Larsen was murdered on October 6, 2010.
Her murder was solved 26 days later, making it November 1 (All Saints Day. Coincidence?).

In the season 3 premiere, Linden asks Holder if he still smokes; he says no, and indicates that he's been nicotine-free for about a year. In an interview on AMCTV.com, Veena Sud has said that it's been 14 months, making it January 2011 in the world of "The Killing".

Therefore, Reddick is right: Holder be get cracking on those St. Valentine's Day reservations!

Yep, their printed stuff in the show that is seen always throws us off. I don't think it's intentional, just bad follow-through. I remember trying to do the Murder Board for the old PB and the dates then threw me off. Particularly, that the high school had the Halloween dance so damn early!
