So Skinner is an interesting character.  He is very reluctant to make a connection with the Seward case and the bio-bags case.  I get that it would make him look bad for convicting the wrong guy, but even Linden said she gave up trying to convince him of Seward's innocence back in Season 2, and that was while the case was still underway.  Why not leave it open and let it go cold?  Why the pressure to close it? 

There's something about him, some rage that we saw come to a head last night.  The main thing that made me really start looking at him was his daughter.  Yeah, that little blip of her.  She just didn't seem like a normal teen to me.  She looked very Little House on the Prairie.  Shirt totally buttoned up to her neck, fully covered in a sweater, hair perfectly done.  Nothing edgy or alternative about her.  No signs of teenage rebellion.  She also seemed kind of immature to me.  I just get the vibe that she's straight and narrow for a reason, reasons which go beyond being a cop's daughter. 

Skinner obviously had a history of infidelity with Linden, so why not with a prostitute?  Is Jen an overbearing ice queen?  Or is she the one who is being oppressed by her misogynistic husband?  Jen's knowledge of Skinner and Linden's affair was obviously a revelation to Skinner.  Why wouldn't Jen say anything to him about it?  To forgive marital infidelity is huge.  I can't imagine her just letting it go, unless she's grown complacent because he's had other indiscretions before Linden. 

Also, he is tall and thin.  Think of the silhouette in the headlights...

Just some random thoughts.  What do you guys think?

Well anniew, if the Picasso case was enough to push Linden over the edge, I can imagine that if it turns out her remarkable instincts and intuition failed her so miserably that she not only missed the serial killer before her very eyes but had an affair with him to boot, she'll take up permanent residency in the Snake Pit.  Our dear Sarah would probably be lost to us as a heroine in future TK seasons, if the show goes on.

I wonder if we were given a good, long look at the clean-cut Bethany Skinner, who seemed almost rapt with the photos of runaway girls, because she's contemplating running away herself -- to escape what's apparently the unhappy marriage of her parents?  Is she going to end up in The Jungle before season's end?

That's about the most cogent rationale I've read from anyone in the Skinner camp!  Do you think he may have killed them all?

And what if it turns out Bullet is Skinner's daughter???  Some of us are bracing ourselves for a shock when it comes to Bullet's parentage.  Maybe Jennifer Skinner is an "overbearing ice queen" when it comes to her husband AND to a very non-conformist daughter.  None of the regulars seem wealthy enough to have sent Bullet to boarding school but on the other hand, police can make damn good money, especially those in higher ranks.  Maybe Bethany's the good daughter and Bullet's the bad one.  At least one problem with this theory is, wouldn't Linden be at least somewhat aware of a circumstance like this since she was Skinner's intimate?

Bullet is Skinner and Linden's love child. Linden was so busy investigating cases that she gave birth and didn't realize it.
