^^^Could be. One of (if not THE) last lines in the film Seven was a fellow cop saying [about the Brad Pitt character] something to the effect, "Don't worry, we'll take care of him". Viewers don't know exactly what that meant, but were left with the impression that he'd suffer the consequences as little as possible. Linden could end up serving a very short sentence via shock probation. After all, she saved the taxpayers money and killed a menace to society. And for those who just can't get enough, the Green River Killer's getting some airtime on LMN tonight: www.mylifetime.com/movies/the-capture-of-the-green-river-killer-i-ii

Well, I watched the GRK show tonight. Nicely done for the most part, featuring the dogged determinism of the real-life cop who pursued him for nearly 20 years. A fictional victim was created to serve as a quasi Greek Chorus, giving voice to the voiceless, providing insight into their backgrounds. The ending featured her in a poignant scene that brought tears to my eyes... How on earth could TK screw up a story about a serial killer? Just about everybody's fascinated with SKs!!!! In a weird way they write their own compelling scripts. I have to resist the urge to use very bad language -- THE WORST (not that it'd be allowed anyway) when I think of some of the ham-handed writing this season.
